Letter from Shirley Crump 2/27/07

Dear Crump Family,

Since relocating, Walter and I have not stopped marveling at the fact that we took a positive step to improve the quality of our life.  .  . And believe me it has tremendously proved to be true!

Besides from serving our Grand Creator together, we can also focus more on each other’s needs. Whether engaging in theocratic activities, attending to the needs of each other or just enjoying each other’s company. This is so important because it eliminates the attitude of being concerned about just our own selfish interest.  We have drawn so much closer.

Although the south in general has its positives and negatives the positives outweigh the negatives to a superior degree. We have not regretted for one moment the choice we’ve made. Robbie & his family made the choice. More recently- Bobby & Wynell, came down and have all ‘seen the light’! J They too will be making the choice in the near future.

We recommend that the entire Crump family consider relocating south for these reasons: Improving spiritual outlook, the morale (even though we’re all living in critical times, hard to deal with.), choice of real estate opportunities, healthier atmosphere, cost of living, and just being closer for the enjoyment of all.

The reason why we strongly recommend the south is not because we’ve made the choice, but rather, because we know that The Crump family will feel the same as above. We truly want that for those we care about.

As you all know, most of our family has also relocated. Todd & his family are in Virginia and Kevin is not far away in Columbia. Tracy is still evaluating her decisions to ascertain if the move is to her advantage. My advice to her is: Give it up girl! COME ON DOWN!

Thanks to Philip Chance for creating this avenue of communicating through “The Crump’s Chronicle”. It is a wonderful way of communicating our innermost thoughts, sharing vivid memories with words & pictures, thus reminiscing over the previous years, recalling pleasant memories.

Some things in life are not so pleasant, (such as sickness & death). However, by considering our past and those of others we may be able to focus constructively on what we can change and improve what we can ultimately, looking to Our Creator for the rest.

Yes, it is hopped that all who are Crump related utilize this instrument of “The Crump’s Chronicle” to the best of its intention.

We are looking forward to sharing more pictures, memories and future events.

Warm Love & Wishes to all,

From Shirley & Walter Crump
